![]() ![]() ![]() That is probably why it took so long for mine to print in Foxit. Obviously the Foxit print file would take a lot longer to get to the printer over my USB 1.1 to parallel connection than the Acrobat file. Both apps quickly processed the 37 page document, but Foxit created 62.8 Megs of data to send to the printer, and Acrobat 6 created 9.7 Megs of data. Just for grins, I printed the document in Foxit and Acrobat 6, but didn't actually turn on the printer, I just observed the print queue. Just put a check mark in the little box and say "nevermind, I know what I did". If you have unchecked an item, and done the restart when prompted, when the system comes back up, there will be a window that says you have messed with the way the system starts, and gives you the option to make changes. If you do not do anything but look, just say cancel. If you go into msconfig and just look, but do not change anything, do not say ok, or it will prompt you to restart. If you don't know what some of the items are, you can google them, and as time goes on, you will learn what they are and if they can be unchecked. It's a shame when every program thinks it needs to start with windows. I have a lot of things unchecked and they still start when I want to use the program. Uncheck one and it will not load with windows. On the startup tab you will see items with checkmarks on them. If you want to see what starts every time windows starts, go to start-run and type msconfig, and say ok. ![]()
